Scottie Jax

Scottie Jax is an american beatmaker and music video editor from Columbus, Ohio. Scottie fell in love with music and began writing lyrics at the age of 9 after being influenced by his older brother’s 7th grade friend who was a DJ and soon to be what Scott describes as his mentor. By the age of 11, Scottie bought his first pair of Turntables which he used to perform in a school talent show. Scottie started doing parties for people at a young age, putting the icing on the cake by spinning unreleased records that he obtained after joining a record pool. At 12 years old, Scott began making rap beats on FL Studio [Fruity Loops back then] and began building a home studio with a recording booth when he was 15. Later that same year, Scottie performed as the opening act for a Stagga Lee concert with his high school friend Cuzz Flip. From 21 to 23, Scott composed his first 2 solo rap mixtapes. The mixtapes included features from guest appearances such as Max B, Styles P, French Montana, Trina, Freeway and Lil’ Scrappy. At 25 Scott began to gain traction online when he began a webisode series on You Tube called
